Detroit Area Study, 1963: A Study of Family-School Relationships in Detroit
(Principal Investigator, Litwak, Eugene, and Henry Meyer)

Summary

From a sample of families of 5th and 6th graders in the Detroit area, a total of 1,536 mothers of school children were interviewed in this study. They were asked to assess the neighborhood school, their child's performance in school, and their personal contact with school officials.
